This photo was taken on my last trip to North Carolina. It was Thanksgiving Day morning when my family decided to go for a nature hike in order to build up an appetite for the feast later that evening. My nephew and I had fallen behind the rest of our family because we were looking at the ducks and swans for too long. By the time my nephew realized he fell behind his mother (my sister), he started to run in order to catch up. I chased after him but stopped for a moment when I realized what an amazing photo it would be. So that's how this came about.   |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
